Home Building Process

We use a comprehensive approach from inception to completion of the project, with full transparency and active communication between all parties.


We begin the information exchange with our Custom Home Questionnaire. From there we will review your design inspirations as well as reviewing your practical needs to determine the project’s final scope.


After the initial discussion, we create project concepts. Each unique solution includes site development analysis to assess the possibilities and capture the best views and light, and ultimately a floor plan to maximize sightlines and flow between rooms.


We’ll explore all home styles from mid-century modern to modern farmhouses to make sure your homes exterior style is truly representative of the dream home you have always envisioned.


For many clients, the holy grail of the custom home building process is the interior design. From cabinets to colors, we work through an exhaustive Client Selection Worksheet to make sure we are truly capturing the elements that reflects your unique sense of style.  


Construction documents and engineering specifications are the culmination of these initial steps. With a complete set of surveys, blueprints, engineered foundation and framing plans, and energy efficiency analysis we are ready to obtain a building permit so that construction of your home may begin.

Project Management and Communication

Your Project Manager will track weekly progress of your project using comprehensive management software and communicate with each member of our team. After we have broken ground, we will schedule a weekly check in call with you, typically with our Client Relations Manager or our Managing Partner. You will receive a “state of the project” update weekly, until we hand you the keys to your new home.
