The 4 Phases of a Custom Home Project

Project Analysis

Our first project-centric meeting is the Project Analysis phase. We encourage you to take this opportunity to ask about anything and everything related to your project, including the process and our approach to home building. We will use this time to learn as much as possible about your needs and wishes for your new home. We will review lifestyle needs, project budgets, and style preferences.

Site Analysis

Whether you already own a lot or select one from our existing sites, we take the Project Analysis data and jointly assess the buildsite. We will meet with foundation and excavation supervisors to make sure all subject matter expertise is available in making the critical decision regarding design, layout, and positioning of the home to meet both budget and lifestyle considerations.

Design Phase

The Design Phase is truly a collaborative process between the homeowner and the builder. It is important that we facilitate and guide the homeowner through all aspects of the Design Phase, including budget and feasibility. We ensure alignment of elements to match the homeowner’s personal preferences and design trends to create a timeless and sustainable finished product.

Build Phase

From site preparation to handing you the keys to your custom Lago Home, the Build Phase is meticulously tracked from both budgetary and time-management perspectives. Weekly or scheduled milestone meetings with the project manager at the buildsite will provide updates and help anticipate any challenges, opportunities, or requests to keep the process on time and on budget.
